1. How often will I come for therapy?
This depends on you and your needs. The staff and you, the patient, work together to find the best plan for success to reach your goals. We can split appointments and conduct telephone updates as needed. There is no average length of time or weekly frequency for therapy. We prefer that initially you come to therapy once a week to help minimize symptoms and assess your concerns. Therapy works best initially when it is consistent, regular, and weekly.
2. What populations do you serve?
We provide counseling services for individuals and couples age 8 and over. We are also planning on having group therapy specific to the needs of our population and community. Please watch our website and our Facebook site for continuous updates.
3. This is my first time coming to therapy, what can I expect?
You can expect that the first three-five sessions will be about evaluating you and your needs. We will work with you to identify your strengths and weaknesses, reduce symptoms and to set achievable goals. Therapy is a process and it can take time to notice a reduction of symptoms; however, we are here to be your advocate and resource.
